Linux---Computer---Workshop

        South-West Community Centre

The Linux Supporters Group Adelaide promotes Linux and Open-Source Software, 
and we meet on the first Wednesday of each month at the 
South-West Community Centre, from 7.30pm to 10pm.
This October meeting will be a hands-on workshop where we shall present 
the following topics (and many extras):

        * Installing various flavours of Linux
        * Creating 'live' CD and USB distributions
        * Managing databases on Linux (MySQL etc)

        *** Bring your laptop/tower and a blank CD-RW or USB stick *** 

Participants may be guided by people with computer expertise and they can 
learn Linux through our hands-on approach. 
This Workshop offers an opportunity to explore Hardware Problems.

Everyone is welcome: bring a friend. Cost for use of this Centre is $3.00 
per person, which includes tea/coffee & biscuits.
