New Partial APT Mirror

The Linux Supporters Group has created an APT partial mirror for use in our Friday Linux Learners Lounge, our monthly Wednesday Meetings and our bi-annual  Workshops.

It should now be easy to bring in your own computer and install any one of over 3500 packages that you might need on the spot, by connecting to our server via ethernet cable. You may also upgrade your distro. You have to be running one of the following distristribution releases:

DEBIAN:  [i386]     etch   lenny   squeeze

[main contrib non-free]

UBUNTU:  [i386]    dapper   hardy   intrepid   jaunty   karmic   lucid

[main restricted universe multiverse]
