The LSGA Workshops: update

Tuesday, March 10th, 2009

A short while ago we were considering running workshops, held on a separate night, that allowed people to bring in their computer and go into various topics in a practical way and in a depth that is not possible during our normal meetings.

These might now be run twice a year, but replacing our monthly meeting on those two nights. The first one could be held on Wednesday the 3rd of June this year.

At our LSGA Workshop meeting you can bring your computer in and attend any or all of up to a dozen hands-on sessions over a two-hour period.

Proposed topics shall be chosen from amongst our talk topics from previous months, as well as from our Linux Learner Lounge tutorials, and of course there shall be ad-hoc topics arising at the workshop itself. As far as possible, topics shall be advertised on this blog and elsewhere well in advance.

Keep tuned!
