The Linux Learner Lounge

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Since some committee members come in to the Centre between 2pm and 4pm every Friday to discuss LSGA business, we thought that it was a good opportunity to invite anyone with Linux-related questions to drop in and learn some Linux skills at the same time.

You may bring in your tower or laptop if it is that sort of issue (we have a VDU/keyboard/mouse) or just seek to resolve any other Linux problems that you are grappling with. $2 covers Centre costs for tea, coffee, biscuits.

Recent issues dealt with: Dual-Booting Linux and XP; Installing a DVD Writer; Installing a Wireless PCMCIA Card on Debian Lenny Laptop.

Maybe we’ll see you at the Linux Learner Lounge in the Adelaide South West Community Centre, 171 Sturt Street, Adelaide, between 1400-1600 any Friday!
